Fulcher Hagler LLP is pleased to announce that partner Robert C. Hagler has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Golden Harvest Food Bank, an Augusta-based nonprofit organization that provides food to the hungry across thirty counties. Robert’s term as Chairman will begin January 1, 2014.
“Golden Harvest is a well-run organization, and I am honored to be a part of it and its mission of feeding the hungry,” Robert said.
The 2014 term will mark Robert’s second stint as Chairman of Golden Harvest. He also served as Chairman in 2009, helping navigate the organization through the heart of the recession.
Golden Harvest distributes approximately 14 million pounds of food annually in Georgia and South Carolina and employs over 50 people. Since 1982, the food bank has distributed more than 200 million pounds and fed more than 11 million people.
Robert has been with the firm since 1979. He practices primarily in the areas of commercial transactions, commercial litigation, business and corporate law, commercial real estate, government law and probate litigation, among others.
